ITA Southeast Regional Championships Hosts Two Men's Tennis Players

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- At the ITA kickoff event this weekend, Jamie Megginson sent two of her men's players to compete.

Junior Daniil Lyalko (Reisterstown, Md./Park School of Baltimore) drew the tournament's top seed as an opponent and fell to Tanner Brown of Johns Hopkins 6-0, 6-1.

JT von Seggern (McLean, Va./Langley) was given an opportunity in the B3 singles draw. The first-year fell to Joel Novick of Washington (Md.) 6-4, 6-2.

The two teamed up to face Swarthmore's pair of Anthony Collard and Thomas Vernier in the championship doubles bracket, but fell 8-0.

Tomorrow, both will compete in the consolation brackets as individuals and as a team.
