SALEM, Va. -- After falling all three doubles matches, Randolph put a scare into Roanoke, but lost, 5-2.

Junior Daniil Lyalko (Reisterstown, Md./Park School of Baltimore) and first-year Doug Corbett (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) fell, 8-5, at top doubles.

First-year players Q Manglapus (Falls Church, Va./-) and JT von Seggern (McLean, Va./Langley) conceded an 8-4 decision at second doubles, while juniors Zach Dales (Albuquerque, N.M./Albuquerque) and Dan Phung (Hanoi, Vietnam/International) were unsuccessful, 8-5, at No. 3.
