Two Top Finishes Leads Randolph Into Sunday's Zones

ROANOKE, Va. -- Randolph had a strong showing today at the Hollins SWVHJA show ahead of Sunday's Zones.

First-year Morgan Hoke (Kingsville, Md./Fallston), fresh off of a mid-week showing in the ODAC Championships, won the WHJA Medal in today's event with another solid effort.

Coming in second place was first-year Kelsey Smith.

On Sunday, Randolph will compete in the IHSA Zone IV Championships, also at Hollins.

Senior Alyssa DeNisco (Slate Hill, N.Y./Minisink Valley) earned a ticket to Zones with a reserve champion ride in walk trot.

Randolph's other two reserve champions, sophomore Meaghan Hynes (York, Maine/York) and junior Reynolds Martin (Ruckersville, Va./Albemarle), will join DeNisco in the event.
