Klevenz Breaks Two More Records On Women's Lacrosse Senior Day

LYNCHBURG, Va. -- On Randolph's Senior Day, a junior broke two more records in a 20-7 loss to Randolph-Macon.

Taylor Klevenz (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill), ranked No. 21 in the nation in scoring, tallied five goals to move into the top spot on the progam's single-season goals and points list.

Randolph-Macon scored the game's first six goals before Klevenz earned her first of the game and scored eight more before the junior struck again off a pass from Taylor Riccardi (Lexington, Va./Rockbridge Co.).

Klevenz got her third off a pass from senior Ashley Edwards (Sumerduck, Va./Liberty-Bealeton) and another unassisted tally for her fourth.

Edwards and classmate Melanie Eisele (Kennett Square, Pa./Sanford School) later scored just a minute apart to get in the goal column on their Senior Day.

Klevenz broke the program's goal record with 1:17 to go, wrapping up the team's scoring.

The Yellow Jackets received six goals from Audrey Hester and four from Janelle Whitman.

Before the game, Edwards, Eisele, Nushaa Kaz (Raleigh, N.C./Ravenscroft) and Samie Maggard (Baltimore, Md./Patapsco) were honored for their four years of service on the WildCats.

Randolph will have two road games next week before wrapping up their home slate.
